Barca restores 6-point lead at La Liga

Barcelona has restored its six-point lead over Real Madrid at the La Liga standings after crushing third-placed Sevilla 4-0 at the Nou Camp. The victory was all the more impressive as it was snatched without Argentine talisman Lionel Messi who was out due to stomach pains. Barcelona has now 81 points through 32 games in the Spanish soccer league while their arch-rival Real Madrid has 75 points.
