Sepahan, Bunyodkor draw in AFC-CL

Uzbekistan's Bunyodkor holds Sepahan to a 2-2 draw in AFC Champions League to remain unbeaten against Iranian clubs at home. Shavkat Salomov put Bunyodkor ahead in the 27th minute but Hadi Aqili equalized the match just before the break. Emad Reza scored the second goal for Sepahan, reviving hopes of the first victory for an Iranian club against an Uzbek side in AFC Champions League. However, Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov scored the equalizer in the 75th minute. Sepahan stands in the first place of Group D with four points, on goal difference with Bunyodkor. Saudi Arabia's Ettifaq and UAE's Al Shabab Al Arabi, which both have three points, will play later on Wednesday. Uzbekistani clubs have never been defeated against Iranian clubs at home. In AFC Champions League 2008 season, Bunyodkor thrashed Iran's Saipa 5-1 in Tashkent.
